Outreach & Impact

The BETR programme promote and support scientific outreach activities. We hope not only to bring the research findings from the projects involved in BETR, but the filed of palaeoenvironment research to more and more general public, especially the next generations. Below are some examples of what the involved researchers have done in recent years.

Outreach activities in schools

Our Bob Spicer was asked to speak at a Kunming primary school around the general topic of Tibet, Monsoons and Biodiversity in Asia. This was the event later 2019. For more details, please click on the photo to see the blog from UMBRELLA written by Alex Farnsworth.
